10 things I do to stop feeling anxious and feel happy! xxxxx

Hi everyone!

This week I have been feeling a lot happier and a lot less anxious, ( well my anxiety is still quite bad but I am able to deal with it , and the panic attacks are better and don't hurt me as much as they have been a lot worse in the past,) and since I have been feeling a lot happier I thought I would share some of the ways I make myself happier and less anxious!

So lets go shall we ?
Here are:
10 things I do to make myself feel less anxious and more happier!!


1. Read a book

You all saw this one coming didn't you?
Yes, I love curling up (quite literally in most cases I curl up in my bed!) with a good book, I just find when I am anxious, I take myself away from the situation, get comfy and read a book as then I just feel transported into a different world!
It's honestly amazing, which is why I probably love fiction so much, as then I can just take my mind away and imagine being a different world for a while, aww how I dream of being a fictional character!!!
2. Catch up with a friend via message or video chat,
Sometimes talking to one of my closest and oldest friends as I can talk to her about what's on my mind and rant a little bit, then she will cheer me up and offer some advice and make me feel better!
seriously I don't think my two closest friends will ever appreciate how much they help me with anxiety and how much I love them for always being there for me even it's it just to listen to me rant!-if those two close friends are reading this (they know who they are) then I just want to say THANK YOU LOVE YOU TOO SO MUCH!
3. Go for a walk
Honestly, you will be amazed how a bit of fresh air can clear your head! When ever I feel like the world is too much, I simply grab my camera and bring my dog along and go out for a long walk, we have this lovely river and massive open field area near my house and I love it, my dog loves the massive open field as well to run crazy in and I can take some amazing photographs for Sunday Photography while clearly my head. Also bringing your dog along can cheer you up as my dog makes me laugh as she can be so crazy and just watching her enjoying life can just bring a smile to my face!

4. Retail Therapy!

In other word just go shopping! Honestly this is a great, you can either go shopping on your own or even better grab a friend or two or as many as you like! I don't know what it is but there is something about buying a new book or new fairy lights or some lush that just brings me joy! Remember a few weeks ago I did a shopping haul? and I said how I didn't actually buy much but I just wondered around shops with my friend and we chatted and laughed? yes that's what I mean, its great therapy!

5. Drink some tea!

Tea is great for everything! especially herbal teas and not just good for your mind but good for your body , for example peppermint helps with stomach aches, and camomile helps you to sleep. Tea just helps everything!

6. Take some "me" time and pamper yourself!

Lock your self away from the world, (not literally, just a figure of speak but you can if you want,) turn of your phone and just head to the bathroom, apply facemasks or hair masks, run your self a nice bath, using some lush products ( don't have to use lush but this way you can enjoy using  them knowing that they haven't harmed animals to make that products) and just relax.
my favourite products I like to use at the minute are: (all from lush)
-Cupcake face mask
-Roots hair mask
-Comforter bubble bar or Frozen bath bomb
-Comforter shower gel or Snow fairy shower gel
Shampoo bar
conditioner bar

and then I have some Netflix on in the back ground either  a Disney film or latest once upon a time <3

7. Sleep

its amazing how a good nights sleep can help reduce stress and anxiety! Have you ever had a full nights sleep and woke up feeling refreshed and happy? a lot better then no sleep and feeling grumpy and tired in the morning! sleep just feels great plus it means you can dream about your crush and have some crazy fantasies !! _ for me its Amazing Phil ssshshshshshshsh I never said anything ;)


8 write.

Whether its a notebook or a diary or journal or even if you have a blog (which if you do please leave your link to your blog in the comments I would love to read them!)  writing down what you feel can help.

9. Organise your room

You know the old saying ? A clean room a clean mind. For example I just re organised my room as since we moving soon I thought it was time to organise my bedroom so it would make packing easier. I started out by making my bed and picking stuff up off my floor. Then I moved all my stuff of my desk to my floor and went through it into piles: keep: throw and then sort through the keep pile and then put everything back on your desk and then I went through my book shelf and now my room is all tidying!!

10. have a family dinner.

Home cooked, take out  or meal out. just get together with your family and enjoy some tasty food and turn off phones and talk. this always makes me feel happy.

Am I too old for disney themed 18th party?

 
Hi everyone!

Hope you're all happy and well!!
 
 
This week I have been very busy doing many things, like coursework and been busy so this blog post might have to be short but sweet!
 
One of the things I have been busy planning my 18th birthday party! I turn 18 in July, gosh I cant believe I am going to be an adult ?! that's mad , I don't think I am ready to grow up!!  Saying that though, I don't think I will grow up as its not compulsory! Basically for my 18th I am planning a big house party at mine with my friends from horse riding, sorry you are not invited haha!
It's going to be a party at my house and I have a close friend from horse riding who's birthday is the day before mine, and she came up with the great idea of lets do a joint party as then it saves money on alcohol and food etc. Me and my friend have been talking about it and planning it, and I came up with the great idea of making it Disney themed! That's an amazing idea!! and then my friend came up with the idea lets do it so everyone dresses up as a Disney character! I thought that was a really fun idea!!! There will be Disney themed food and decorations (watch out on my youtube channel for videos of how I make my decorations coming soon- link below)  and we all be dressed as a Disney character and Disney themed alcohol ( my friend is charge of the alcohol as I don't drink but my friends love drinking, however I might have the odd alcoholic drink since its my 18th! hehe!!!) and you get the picture everything will be Disney (might even try and dress my dog up a little bit haha!!!
 
 
You get the idea?! Anyway last night I thought why don't I make a Facebook event about it for my friends and see who can come etc that way it keeps a simple list of who is invited and who can or can't make it, boy oh boy do I regret that know! let me explain. so it all kicked off, a couple of friends where asking why it was in the daytime as well as they don't like drinking in the day and would prefer night time, however I not allowed a night party and there wont be enough space for people to sleep, so I having in the afternoon instead, but they think it will be weird drinking in the day however they can still drink and it will still be a fun day! Then they though I am too old for a Disney party and they didn't think the dressing up was a good idea they thought it was childish, and I get that isn't for everyone. one of my friends then suggested "why don't you just have a night out round town?" well three reasons for that:
1. I don't like alcohol and don't like to drink, it just doesn't interest me
2. I would rather celebrate my 18th in a special way that I can actually remember,
3. the idea of a night out makes me extremely anxious and nervous and panicky

so yeah a night out would be a night mare way to celebrate my 18th, (I am going to talk more about night outs and alcohol and anxiety in another blog post coming soon click the follow button if you want to be notified when I upload that!)
Anyway, so some people thought dressing up as Disney character would be lame, childish, which got me thinking should I change my 18th into something more grown up like a DJ and bar party or a spa day or something normal.

What is normal anyway? I was speaking to my friend about this the other day as I noticed that my two best friends from school are planning their 18ths (their birthdays are very close to mine) and one of them is going to have a spa day and have a few drinks in a bar with friends the other is having this massive party in a venue with DJ and a bar, and that got me thinking should I do something more grown up like them ? but my friend made an excellent point that even though they may being doing something that is grown up for their birthday it doesn't mean you have to, I mean who else  would have a Disney themed 18th party? none exactly!! that's why you should as then it will be soooo special and unique!!! 

that's what I am planning to do basically!!!  I am sorry it has been short and a bit of a mixed blog post, hope you enjoyed it anyway!! Let me know what you guys think about my Disney themed 18th party? I want to know your opinion in the comments I will read and reply to all comments!!!

Life Update! Blog of the month!! xx

Hi everyone!!!
 Hope your all happy and well!!
I sorry that I have been missing from the internet lately, I am sorry I have had a lot going off in my (non internet) life. I sorry! I have missed writing to you guys!! Mainly I have just been feeling really bad with anxiety and needed some time off from the internet.  However I am back!!
So this week I thought I'd do something abit different, I thought I'd tell you al about some things that are happening in my like right now. I never really talk about what's happening in my life, (non internet life) as I never really talk about whats happening, what I am doing at college, how my anxiety is, how horse riding is going. I thought I would update you on all that, I will try and separate it into categories. I also thought maybe instead of a monthly favourites I could alternate it so one  month I write monthly favourites and the next I update you on my life of Time of the month, like blog of the month of like PMS if you have seen that vlog series on YouTube, except I will be blogging not vlogging hahah.

So enough rambling lets get to it!

My Anxiety, panic attacks and my mental health

Lets get the hard thing out the way first shall we!

So my general mental health hasn't been good for months now, I just haven't been feeling great I am not going into too much detail as I am not even sure whats going on inside my head so I don't know how to explain it.
My anxiety and panic attacks, well for a while, most of 2015, it was great I didn't get many panic attacks and the panic attacks I got were not bad, I was able to cope. I could deal with it, however, these last few months its been really bad and although I have been coping (only just) it doesn't seem to be getting any better it feels like its slowly getting worse!
I have really been considering getting some professional help like therapy, or something however I am to scared and anxious about this as I know that the NHS (the English national health service) are really bad when it comes to mental health) anyway  I just been thinking a lot about getting help but I am too scared. I never admit I am struggling, I too stubborn for my own good most the time!!

Horse riding

Well horse riding going really well! I been riding for almost three years. In summer 2014  I moved from a pony to a big horse called Jess who I love!! She is so great to ride, and I am doing really well on her and last Summer Funday I got actually a rosette for being the most confident rider of the day! seriously?! I was a confident rider I didn't have a panic attack all day!!

College

Well I hate my college. there I said it!  I am in my second year, otherwise known as Year 12. I am studying a level 2 BTECH creative media which is photography film and audio and then I also am re taking English GCSE on the side. I am doing great in my subjects I am predicated a B in English, a distinction in Photography and merit in film and a pass in audio, you can tell photography is my stronger subject haha!! I just don,t really like college right now, a few reasons for this, mainly because the people in my class. Most people in my class over the year have been quite mean to because I am the geeky one, and I don't really fit into any friendships groups at college, so I just feel very lonely at college right now and I don't like it. I am moving to a different college next year to study level 3 extended art and design which is art, photography and textiles which even though I have never done textiles before I m very excited and its at college that I already have a best friend from high school there and it just sounds like a great college and I can't wait!!


Family

The only thing to mention about my family here is that we are moving house soon!! very soon actually!! I have lived in the same house pretty much all my life and it will always be our family home where I grew up and spend my childhood and I will miss that but I am very excited to move and our new house is a very nice location and is beautiful and has a hot tub outside!-You jealous ? haha its all so exciting!! I will be doing a room tour and maybe even a house tour on my Youtube channel when we have moved and got everything settled.


I think that's all I have to update you! As I said earlier I will be making this a series of Blog Of The Month where I update you guys about my life and alternating this with a monthly favourites!

A shopping haul and an apology xx

Hi everyone!!
 
 
 
I am so sorry I haven't written or created any online content in weeks I am sorry I have just been feeling really bad with anxiety and needed time away from the internet, I am sorry. ( I will be uploading an in depth blog post about everything that's been happening recently, it will be up next week so watch out for that!!)
 
 
anyway since I have few weeks off college, and my awesome friend came back from university the other week for a few weeks and I haven't seen her in forever so we needed to catch up so went shopping. which let me tell you was so fun as I love shopping and it was great fun catching up with my friend and chatting away and laughing. I swear I only laugh that hard when I am with my awesome friend, she always make me cry laugh when my anxiety is horrible!! it's great therapy honest!-grab your friend, walk around shops, chat and laugh! its so much fun!
 
Anyway I thought I would show you guys what I bough since you guys always love that and its fun!! However I didn't actually buy that much as mainly trying on stupid hats and sunglasses and chatting and laughing, however I bought a few things so here is what I bought!!
 
 
 
So firstly we went into the The Works (an art and craft shop) and since we are both such art nerds we had to go in!! we couldn't just walk past it!! so my friend bought a wooden heart and some pens. I bought  a notebook which is blank paper so I will use it for a sketch book as  always need new sketch books and notebooks. I then bought this massive pack of assorted permanent markers which were £1 and I bought for the fact we are moving house soon and need plenty of permanent markers to write on all the boxes of stuff for what room they belong to etc!
 


Next, we to Lush my favourite shop ever! (basically similar to bath and body works if your from the USA ). I am going to explain the products left to right:
 
-Roots hair treatment honestly this is such an amazing hair treatment! but I spoken about this a lot on my blog so you all know that I love this product! I really hope it helps my hair grow as I want it long and want to grow my natural colour out as I hate the blonde I dyed it! ( its half way! after about a year!!)
 
-mini marshmallow Bath oil this is so cute and I think its quite new so I cant wait to use it later tonight!!
 
-Cupcake face mask - I didn't technically this I traded 5 used clean lush pots (the big ones like the roots product is in) and traded in for a free face mask! its great how they recycle and re use pots and got a free face mask mask woo!!
 
- I then got a brochure for the spa treatment menu which I didn't know they did but I don't think I will do any of these as they are expensive and I think it would make me feel uncomfortable and anxious having a massage. I don't know.
 
-Then I got a comforter bath melt ( you crumble it into the bath) the comforter is one of my favourite products!!!
 
That is all I bought from lush, my friend bought bubblegum lip scrub. we didn't buy much but we spent ages talking to a really lovely worker (all lush workers are so nice!) and smelling all the products!!

 
Then I went to waterstones and bought this book Beautiful broken things by Sara Barnard as I could go into a book shop and not buy anything!!
by the way  my friend was on her phone being like " are you done yet I bored in this shop" she isn't a book worm like me haha!

 
 
That's all I bought, told you I didn't buy much! I even went into primark and dint buy a thing!! we laughed more then we shopped!! haha!!!
